A brother and sister team that happened to be kayaking on the lake decided to pitch in with the cleanup effort.

On Saturday September 7, the Greenbelt Overhaul Alliance of Levittown (GOAL) marshaled a contingent of local volunteers to clean up the shoreline and waterways of Magnolia Lake at Silver Lake Nature Center.

GOAL will be at the Bristol Township Senior Center on September 27 to assist with the installation of two 500 gallon rain tanks as well as a fall cleanup of the rain gardens. All are welcome; GOAL invites everyone to “take pride in our shared community.” Visit or call 215-269-1947 for more information.
